great news! i hope it will go well and there will be 3 chicks again :-D
ReplyDeleteLet us all hope that everything will work out well for the little one and hope that mother will not reject it.
ReplyDeleteWill that be about 11am UK time? You are one hour ahead of us.
I don't want to miss it!
Awww Bless!!
ReplyDeleteI just seen you put the baby back in the pot and it is looking really well and healthy!!
You are really nice caring people. Well done!!! :-)
it's nice to see that the family is complete again! now keep my hopes up for the little one to be accepted again! its looks really great!
ReplyDeleteAll seems to be going well. The little one is very happy to be with its family again. It weighed 148g when we took it to the Rehab Centre. It put on a whole 150g, so doubled its weight. It still is half the size of the others but it looks strong and healthy. We'll have to wait for tonight to see if Pot Plant Owl and Pappa feed it
ReplyDeleteOh I am so chuffed at the prospect of Teeny being back!
ReplyDeleteNo I know that I will definitely not get ANYTHING done around here today...waiting to see how this goes....high drama, indeed!
ReplyDeleteHappy to see the little one reunited with his Mama and siblings.I hope with all my heart that this is a successful reunion. Well done you for taking such good care~ Best wishes Teeny owlet.
ReplyDeleteI am pleased that the smallest is back.
ReplyDeleteToday, as you say, see how it goes, and tonight if properly fed.
What has happened to the baby owl?? Has the other two attacked it?? It is laying on the compost in the pot and not looking too good.
ReplyDeleteYou need to get it out ASAP!!
Oh dear :-(
I am thinking that Teeny is tuckered out from all the stress it has already endured today...and from looking at the other 2 chicks, it is obviously very hot there...they are panting (ca't remember the correct term for bird panting)
ReplyDeleteHi Owls.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you are right, I would hate anything to happen to it now.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteYou are certain that teeny is ok, it seems amorphous and much smaller than the other two? Sorry for my English, I am appealing to google translation.

Hi Panda...have you seen Mamma or Pappa back at the pot since Teeny was replaced?

ReplyDeleteNo Owls.
ReplyDeleteI have only been on here since 2:30pm UK time, about an hour ago.
I have been checking whilst doing other things.
Irmgard.
ReplyDeleteYour English is great, no probs :-)
Congratulations, the little one looks very healthy indeed :)
ReplyDeleteGreat to see the little one back, have been out all day. Thanks so much for all your doing with them, great viewing. First time blogging on here. Claire
ReplyDeleteBoth parent's came to the pot at 6:15pm UK time with food :-)
ReplyDeleteEverything looks ok so-far.
Teeny has just had a sizeable morsel...looking good so far :)
ReplyDeleteFood brought in at 20:55 UK time and the baby has it :-)
ReplyDeleteA snack brought in at 21:11 UK time and the middle and eldest had some.

ReplyDeleteI have been watching most all night and finally around 5 AM Teeny got some food. The two big guys were overpowering when Mom came with food and Teeny was chirping a lot but got ignored. I wish the Mom was more concerned. Perhaps Teeny will get pushy.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, he has had enough food in the evening and the first part of the night. One of the preys was too large to eat at once, mom had to feed it and the little one got almost all of it. This was about midnight.
ReplyDeleteI made one screenshot of him eating a small prey, but saw him eat more often: http://oi52.tinypic.com/50l5q9.jpg
