We can confirm that there is an egg in the nest. Pot PLant Owl guards the egg well during the day, and most of the evening too.
We expect a second egg in the next day or two.
I'll be joining all the live chats soon and really look forward to catching up with you all again!
It's so nice to see PPO's ear tufts ruffling in the breeze today as she sits in the nest. PPO is a beauty. Looking forward to seeing you in chat again!
ReplyDeleteSo good to see her again. She has a lot of fans in Nederland :-)
ReplyDeleteShe appears to be gone all night. Did she have another egg(let) before nightfall? Agree, love to see her again.
ReplyDeleteI captured a picture of PPO.

~~Hello Tracey/Allan~~:) Happy Spring to you as we near the end of our summer here, in Nova Scotia, Canada. I am so looking forward to yet another season with PPO and her family and to share it with fellow owl/nature lovers. Will there be a side-by-side chat in the Africam stream like last year and will Ustream also broadcast PPO? Lots of questions--will patiently wait for answers. Such a pretty first egg I see nestled in Pot Plant nest under gentle night sky! :)
ReplyDelete2 eggs now :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy watching the owls from Saskatoon,Saskatchewan,Canada.
ReplyDeleteWe caught Tracey on the cam.
